 To meet the current and growing needs, we've given ourselves a new challenge. We are going to do all we can, large and small steps, snapshot and big picture, to formulate a formal, serious and concerted multi-sectored plan to prevent senior hunger and more costly premature institutionalization. .
A groundbreaking research study found that as of 2007, there were nearly 6 million seniors facing the threat of hunger. Our goal is to match that number – with 6 million people who are willing to stand up and pledge to do what it takes to end senior hunger.
Help us reach our local March for Meals goal of 2,010 pledges, and be a part of leading this movement to support our kupuna and drive out an epidemic of senior hunger from our communities. Our voices will combine with thousands of others in the national campaign organized by the Meals on Wheels Association of America. Will you join us?
