How to Enroll
Any person who experiences barriers to employment due to a physical or cognitive disability, and has a DVR Counselor, is eligible for the program.
Take a tour
If you are interested in participating in one of our training programs, first notify your DVR counselor. Your counselor will ask you to contact our Training & Advocacy Department at (808) 531-0555 extension 585 or 547 to schedule a tour of our training sites. During the tour, you will visit our Bachelot Kitchen Food Service Training site, our Custodial Services Training site and our Custom Products Training site. Depending on the time of day, you will be able to see people at work.
Intake & Assessment
After the tour, if you are interested in joining one of the training programs, notify your DVR counselor. Your counselor will ask you to contact our Training & Advocacy Department at (808) 531-0555 extension 585 or 547 to schedule an Intake & Assessment. At the Intake & Assessment, you will be interviewed and the necessary paperwork will be completed. Once you provide a recent TB test, your start date will be identified.Prior to your first day of training, you will be provided with five work shirts and the dress code policy will be discussed with you.
