It’s time to sweeten the holiday season – with a little help from some health-conscious swaps and world-renowned Chef Alan Wong!

While the winter season is marked by its many indulgences, Lanakila Kitchen partnered with Chef Alan to craft a dessert that hits the spot without as much added sugar. Together, we developed our limited-edition, delicious Apple Butter Mochi that packs seasonal flavors and addicting texture into every bite.

“Butter mochi is a local favorite! And the Apple Butter Mochi with streusel make it festive for the holidays,” Chef Alan says. “Introducing natural sugar substitutes and superfoods also help to improve our wellness, especially when we over-indulge in the season.”

With the health benefits of fresh ginger and monk fruit sugar, this sweet treat is a slightly healthier choice for the holiday dessert table that will bring smiles to the faces of family and friends.

Craving a taste? For a limited time only, you can find this tasty dessert at Don Quijote, Marukai, and Times Supermarket locations until mid-January.
