DELIVERY DRIVER
Our volunteer drivers bring nutritious meals and social connection to Oahu seniors and individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to support those who are home-bound in aging-in-place.
Volunteer drivers deliver their route once a week. Routes typically start between 8 AM – 9 AM. Routes may be picked up close to the delivery area and take about 2-hours to complete. Volunteer drivers must have access to an insured vehicle, valid driver’s license, and smart phone..
Deliveries typically occur anytime during these times:
Tuesday-Saturday, 8 AM to 12 PM
MEAL PACKER
Our volunteer meal packers parcel out meals so they can be easily delivered to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Meal packing takes place at the Lanakila Pacific facility on Bachelot Street and each meal packing shift is about 2-hours. Meal packing occurs a various time through the week.
If your group is looking for a volunteer opportunity, Saturdays are reserved for work, school, club, and other one-time group opportunities.
Packing occurs at these times:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday: 8 AM
Wednesday & Thursday: 10 AM

Eligibility
1. Must be 16 years or older

2. Be negative for tuberculosis
3. Pass a criminal background check
4. Clean driving record – for delivery drivers only
5. Provide two non-family adult references
Process
1. Submit your online volunteer application. We will contact you.
2. Allow for your application to be processed and for appropriate checks to be completed – usually within 7-10 business days.
3. Attend an orientation session.
How do I volunteer?
All individual and group volunteers must register through our online application. Typically, volunteers must be at least 16 years old, fully vaccinated against COVID-19, test negative for tuberculosis, pass a criminal background check, hold a clean driving record (for delivery drivers), and provide references.
